The Supreme® / Mitchell & Ness® Teams Varsity Jacket — Denver Nuggets, Black, XXLarge — dropped as part of Supreme’s SS26 Week 13 collab with Mitchell & Ness (May 21, 2026), a full capsule built on four heritage franchises: the Braves, the Astros, the Bullets, and the Nuggets. And of the four, the Nuggets piece is the clear winner.

Why this piece

The rainbow skyline is one of the most beloved logos in NBA history — the 80s/90s Denver Nuggets visual identity, rainbow stripes running into a mountain skyline. Mitchell & Ness went all in on it here: full rainbow appliqué across the chest, chenille “Nuggets” in green and red, green stars and purple satin stripes down the sleeves straight off the old warm-up jackets, the Mitchell & Ness script on the cuff, and the NBA logo on the right sleeve. Black wool body, snap-button front, striped ribbing at the collar, cuffs and hem. Hardwood Classics patch plus the Supreme box tag at the hem. It’s loud in all the right ways.

Why XXL makes it a grail

Big sizes are the first to go on drop day and the hardest to find on resale. An XXL in a piece this graphic-heavy basically doesn’t surface — and when it does, it doesn’t last. If you’re both a Supreme head and a Nuggets fan, this is the must-have of the whole capsule.
